1.
Data creation.

For optimum utilization and faster return on the investment made on any software solutions, it is mandatory to have enough data in the database. Following are the three means adopted by RMS to attain fastest possible data entry.

1.1 Data creation tools.

1.2 Web-interface.

1.3 Manual Data Entry.

1.1 Data Creation Tools:

In order to automize and speed-up the data creation process the tools like Resume Hunter can be used which works hand in hand with RMS.

  • Hunts for uniquely distinct latest resumes . I.e. no duplicate resumes would be inserted in RMS database.
  • Resume Hunter can hunt the resumes from any of the following sources - Outlook's mailbox, hard drives in the network, web folders .
  • Resumes can be in any of the following format - html, doc, rtf, text, zip .
  • While capturing resumes from a folder or a mailbox, Hunter allows to define the RMS Practices .
  • This process can be done simultaneously (Hunter running on any number of computers in a network irrespective of RMS licenses ).
  • Hunter can build the candidate's database at the rate of a resume per second.

1.2 Creating candidates database using Web:

  • RMS further eases data creation by allowing the aspirants to enter their resumes on line. Leaving the onus of data entry, also on candidate themselves helps in faster data creation.
  • RMS helps in creating the web page without any technical assistance, which binds the RMS's pre-defined master to the drop downs of the web page.
  • Resume duplication is checked before candidates from web becomes the part of RMS database offline there by avoiding redundancy and maintains the latest information.

1.3 Manual Data Entry:

  • RMS Users can define their own master value apart from having pre-defined masters as per the industry standards.
  • Pre-defined structured master values are available consistently across the package out which a candidate profile or the client information and their respective requirements are entered.
  • Structured masters speeds up the data entry process by reducing data entry to just data selection from the smart multi-select drop downs while creating candidate/client profile etc.
  • Multi-selection not only saves time but also helps in creating a candidate profile or a requirement in one go instead of having multiple profiles for the same.
  • In-order to avoid human error and ambiguity in the master values, the process of data entry in the masters can be programmed by the administrator on multiple levels of authorizations as per the user's rights.
  • Strong validations at the time data entry further makes data free from duplicate values, say if a qualification has already been selected for a candidate it can't be selected again for that candidate.
  • The ease in creating a profile can also be extended to all those candidates who visit consultant's office for completing their information off-line in the RMS on their own.
  • Bio-data / resume of the candidates can be saved in the RMS that allows viewing of the soft copy of the candidates along with their entered data.
  • Saving a candidate just with their bio-data (without any data entry) still allows them to be searched upon.
